This is a big weekend for ‘Lost Restaurants of Tucson‘.
I will be a featured speaker at Tucson Festival of Books. I consider it an honor be a part of this wonderful event. I’ll be presenting at the Culinary Tent on the University of Arizona Mall at 11:30, followed by a signing there and then I’ll spend some time at the Mostly Books tent.
Donna Nordin will be preparing Cafe Terra Cotta’s Goat Cheese Stuffed Shrimp -the recipe is in the book- and there will be a tasting panel with several of the chefs/owners who were featured in the book.
I could write pages about Tucson Festival of Books but better that you look at their website to get a true picture of what it’s all about.
There’s also a reception cocktail party of Friday and a Culinary Dinner at Skyline Country Club on Saturday evening.
I’m excited and can’t wait.
One more boast:
Imagine my excitement when while visiting the UofA Bookstore the other day and seeing my book prominently displayed near the front of the store. Thanks to my sister Nancy for taking this photo. I take pride in having my book at my alma mater’s bookstore.
Please try and make it. I’d love to see you there.
